Glenfiddich 18 YO Small Batch Reserve is a complex single malt whisky from Scotland. Delivered in a beautifully shaped 0.7L bottle, the whisky is not only suitable for your own house bar, but also as a gift. Glenfiddich 18 initially matures for 18 years in sherry and bourbon casks, giving it a complex taste structure. After these 18 years, Master Distiller Brian Kinsman selects 150 wood barrels, splits the whisky into batches and matures it for a further three months.

Aroma and taste

Thanks to the elaborate aging process, Glenfiddich 18 already inspires in the nose with a special aroma. The baked apple is finer but more intense and is wonderfully rounded off with cinnamon. Exciting accents are set by Sherry, which provides a skillful sweetness. Glenfiddich 18 YO is full and soft on the palate. The Small Batch Reserve Single Malt Whisky remembers its aging and comes with strong notes of oak. A wonderfully fresh balance is created by fruit and apple tips, which are balanced by mild herbal impressions.

The woody character, which finds its basis in oak, is once again noticeable in the medium-length finish. In addition there are the fruity notes, spice nuances and discreet sherry. Signs of chocolate and marzipan can also be seen, rounding off every sip in a multi-layered way.
