Glengoyne 10 YO is a very special single malt from the Scottish Highlands. The balanced whisky inspires with a fruity and malty character and exciting peaks. The amber-coloured whisky is served in an elegant 0.7L bottle. The 10-year-old Glengoyne gets by without smoky components, making it ideal as a whisky for beginners or for a relaxed evening.

Aroma

The aroma of Glengoyne 10 YO is balanced. Sweet and fruity elements such as fine caramel and sweet apple dominate. The fruit is balanced by nutty peaks. A slightly malty note rounds off the olfactory experience.

Flavor

On the palate, Glengoyne 10 YO is smooth and soft. Light malt notes can be identified, which are flanked by some oak and subtle liquorice. A fine peat aroma is also present on the palate, but it is less smoky than popcorn. If you would like to experience even more spice and nut, all you have to do is to add some water. A few drops of it and the whisky brings out linseed oil and almond aromas.

Finish

The finish is long and smooth. Glengoyne's mild nature is also shown here. In addition to nutty accents, fruity nuances are added, which the single malt from Scotland gets by aging in sherry casks.
